Kim Fejfer
Chief Executive Officer


Kim Fejfer was appointed CEO of APM Terminals in June 2004 and is located in The Hague, Netherlands company headquarters. He is a member of the Group’s Executive Board since January 2011 and also responsible for DAMCO and Maersk Container Industry.

A native of Denmark, Mr. Fejfer graduated from the University of Aarhus, Denmark with a Master’s Degree in Finance and Economics. He served as an officer in the Danish Army, and has attended management programs at IMD, Switzerland and the Cranfield School of Management, in England and Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Christian Moller Laursen

Christian Moller Laursen
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Christian Moller Laursen has served as Vice President and CFO of APM Terminals since 2004 and was appointed Group Vice President for the A.P. Moller–Maersk Group in May 2007.

Mr. Laursen has been a part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group since joining as an economist with the Financial Planning Department of Maersk A/S in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1990.

Susanne Marston was appointed Vice President, General Counsel of APM Terminals on August 1, 2014, and is based at the Company Headquarters in The Hague.

Jeff De Best joined APM Terminals in April of 2014 as Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for operations throughout the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network of port facilities and Inland Services.

Tiemen Meester

Tiemen Meester
Vice President, Business Implementation
Russia and Baltics Portfolio Manager

Tiemen Meester assumed leadership of Business Implementation on July 8th, 2011, and was given the additional responsibility of the company’s Russia and Baltics Portfolio as of July 1st, 2013. In addition to overseeing the company’s terminal operations in Russia, Finland and Estonia, Mr. Meester leads the company’s focus on implementing new businesses secured through business development activities such as concessions, acquisitions or expansions of existing facilities. Specific activities encompass Project Management, related commercial activities, Design, Engineering and IT.

Francois-Xavier Delenclos
Vice President, Strategy and Business Development

As Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, Mr. Delenclos is responsible for developing and leading the company's global strategic plan including portfolio optimization, driving inorganic growth opportunities and divestiture transactions.

Prior to joining APM Terminals, Mr. Delenclos worked for McKinsey & Company in their Corporate Finance Practice in Asia, specializing in advising governments, port authorities, port operators and financial investors on their proposed port investment, geographic expansions and financing.

Martin Gaard Christiansen is APM Terminals Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for expanding the customer base for APM Terminals’ Global Terminal Network.

Erik Eisenberg

Erik Eisenberg
Vice President, Communications and Branding

Erik Eisenberg joined APM Terminals in January 2011, and is responsible for all aspects of internal and external communications and company branding, including long- and short-term strategies, and the development and training of corporate communications skills.

Prior to joining APM Terminals, Mr. Eisenberg held the position of Head of Information at Dansk Supermarked, a market-leading European retail business, and a fellow member of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group.

Asia-Pacific Region Head

Henrik L. Pedersen is the Head of the APM Terminals Asia-Pacific Region, having previously served as APM Terminals’ Vice President of Business Development for Latin America. Based in Singapore, Henrik is a member of the APM Terminals Global Senior Leadership Team.

Vice President, Human Resources and Labor Relations

Steve Bird joined APM Terminals in February 2012, from Trinity Mirror PLC, where he led the Human Resources Department. Steve brings to the Group 30 years of experience with a strong commercial focus with expertise in running multifunctional teams and non-HR activities.

Africa-Middle East Region Head

Peder Sondergaard is Head of the company’s Africa-Middle East, with responsibility for operations in 13 port and terminal facilities in 12 nations spanning Western Africa, the Persian Gulf and Sri Lanka. The AME Regional office is located in Dubai.

Eric Sisco
North America Portfolio Manager

Eric Sisco has been associated with the Maersk Organization since 1978, first as outside Legal Counsel to the Maersk Companies in the United States and later as a Senior Executive in the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group’s Container Business. Mr. Sisco’s current role is North America Portfolio Manager and he is located in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Ben Vree
Europe Portfolio Manager

Ben Vree is the Europe Portfolio Manager, with responsibility for 13 terminals in 12 countries, as well as Inland Services operations. Mr. Vree previously served as CEO of APM Terminals Rotterdam, overseeing the operations, expansion and strategic planning of the Maasvlakte I and Maasvlakte II facilities. He is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Mr. Vree joined APM Terminals from the North Sea Group, an oil products and bio fuels trade and distribution company based in The Netherlands, where he served as CEO from 2011 to 2012.

Joe Nielsen
Head of Global Container Port Business Development

Joe Nielsen was named CEO of the Latin America Region and Head of Global Container Port Business Development as of August 1st, 2014, having been appointed LAM Regional Head the year prior. Located in Panama, Mr. Nielsen has been associated with the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group since 1998.

Kevin Furniss
Vice President, HSSE

Kevin Furniss joined APM Terminals as Vice President of HSSE in January 2014, and has company-wide responsibility for Health, Safety, Security and Environmental sustainability.

Mr. Furniss came to APM Terminals from Vodafone PLC, where he held the position of Group Director of Health, Safety & Wellbeing. He brings over 25 years’ experience in helping global organizations deliver cultural change in health and safety, become more sustainable, and manage risk, including BMW, Ford Motor Company, Jaguar Land Rover, Cadbury Schweppes, Carillion and Laing O’Rourke. Mr. Furniss was also a key strategic member of the team that oversaw the construction program for the 2012 London Olympics.
