APM Terminals Itajaí is responsible for 100% of container operations in Itajaí. During 2010 volumes increased around 94% due to new services, etc. During the last two years reconstruction civil works took place at APM Terminals Itajaí due to the flood in 2008. Today all the infrastructure has been re-established. APM Terminals Itajaí has 16 reach-stackers, 4 mobile harbor cranes and 2 ZPMC ship-to-shore gantry cranes in a yard area of 180,000 square meters (including public area). With 1,035 meters of linear berth (including public area), we were able to start 2011 completely ready to meet volume's demand. APM Terminals Itajaí's mission is to insert Itajaí Port to the select group of international container terminals that keeps focus on quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
