YARD: APM HAS BEEN REQUESTING FOR QUITE SOME TIME THAT CRANK HANDLES BE LOWERED AT TIME OF DROP OFF TO AVOID UNNECESSARY DAMAGES TO THE CHASSIS. TO DATE WE ARE STILL LOCATING NUMEROUS CONTAINERS ON THE YARD THAT ARE DROPPED WITH THE CRANK HANDLES IN THE EXTENDED POSITION. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY SHOULD A CONTAINER/CHASSIS BE LOCATED WITH THE CRANK HANDLE IN THE EXTENDED POSITION: 1ST OFFENSE -PICTURE TAKEN AND E-MAIL SENT TO DISPATCHER WITH A WARNING TO THE DRIVER / 2ND OFFENSE - PICTURE TAKEN AND 7 DAY SUSPENSION / 3RD OFFENSE - 14 DAY SUSPENSION / LASTLY PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM TERMINAL.

Automated truck scales and state-of-the-art CCTV cameras at the interchange gate, APM Terminals Jacksonville offers a completely paperless interchange process. This facilitates a more efficient and productive interchange for our customers and the truckng community.
