05/10/201200:01[Tacoma]OVERALL: APM Terminals Tacoma has installed tire shredding devices to prevent unauthorized entry into the terminals outgate exit lanes; (adjacent to the outgate guard house and Puyallup River). Signage has been posted in the areas of these devices to inform all drivers.
APM Terminal will not be responsible for damage that is a result of failing to comply with warnings.

GATE: Staring Monday March 12, The Main Gate will be closed between the hours of 11:45 through 13:00, Monday through Friday.
EMPTY RETURNS: All Maersk Line empties must be returned to T-18 Seattle or Northwest Container, Seattle.

LINES: Nothing to report in Lines.
SAFETY: Please remove all zip ties and straps prior to entry.
MARITIME SECURITY: Nothing to report in Maritime Security.

Port of Tacoma Clean Truck Program
All drayage trucks entering Port terminals must display a Port of Tacoma Clean Truck Program Sticker by Jan. 1, 2011. Trucks without stickers will be identified, and the operator, shipper or cargo owner will be notified that the truck does not comply with Port requirements.

TWIC Enforcement Began February 28, 2009Effective 28 February 2009, you must have a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) for unescorted access to secure areas of the Port. If you access a secure area of a port or vessel as part of your job, chances are you will need a TWIC, a biometric card that ensures only vetted workers can enter without an escort. APM Terminals’ container yard is restricted and requires a TWIC for access.
