 2017

The terminal adds ISO 55001 (Asset Management) to its ISO certifications.

 2015

New certification; ISO 27001, for information security management. The Terminal is recognised by a national safety award for the second time.

 2014

The Terminal obtains CSR label (compliance with ISO 26000 requirements). In September, the terminal signs the first Community-Based Adaptation agreement in the Moroccan transhipment industry. The Terminal is named ‘Best Terminal of the Year’, by APM Terminals.

 2013

The terminal is recognized with a National Quality Award and achieves ISO 28000 (Security management systems for supply chain). The terminal is also named ‘Best Employer in Morocco’.  In September, the first Triple-E class vessel to call at an African port arrives at the Terminal.

 2012

Process excellence pays off, as the Terminal obtains triple quality certification for Quality, Safety and the Environment (QSE) (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001)

 2010

3 million TEUs handled. The Terminal is awarded the highest Moroccan safety accolade, the National Award for Safety at Work.

 2008

APM Terminals Tangier is ranked among the best three terminals in the Global portfolio, in terms of productivity and operational capacity.

 2007

On 27 July, the Terminal is inaugurated by H.M. King Mohamed VI, in the presence of the late Mr Arhnold Maersk Mc Kinney Moller.

 2005

APM Terminals Tangier is the first container terminal to be established in the new TangerMed Port.
