In operation since December 2011, the Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT) was Russia’s first greenfield container terminal to be developed at a deep-sea port.
The Ust-Luga Container Terminal covers 50.4 hectares, and offers 440 meters of berth with an alongside depth of 13.5 meters, five railway tracks of 525 meters length, and 420 reefer plugs. Its annual container throughput capacity is 440,000 TEUs.
Ust-Luga Container Terminal’s location, combined with the well-developed rail infrastructure in the region, allows it to offer most efficient delivery options to mainland Russia, compared to routes via neighboring countries.
