The Europe Region encompasses Europe and the North African coast of the Mediterranean Sea, with ownership or interests in 11 facilities across 11 countries, including major transshipment facilities in Morocco and Egypt, and an extensive Inland Services network. New port facilities are currently under construction in Rotterdam, Netherlands; Wilhelmshaven, Germany; and Vado, Italy. APM Terminals recently purchased a majority share in Poti Sea Port, on the Black Sea in Georgia.
