
1. Truck driver / company pre-announces container visit according to procedure and receives TAR code
2. Truck driver arrives with load, scans cargo card at OCR GateĀ and registers with TAR code.
3. Gate inspector will verify license plate and container number, inspect container for damage, verify and record seal number andĀ attach a seal number if no seal is present.
4. Gate clerk will input all details and insert documentation in CTCS.
5. Customs documentation is presented to customs.
6. If no problems, then the gate clerk will inform driver to pull forward to gate inspectors.
7. Gate inspector will verify presence of IMO labels if required.
8. Route plan will be printed for driver and EIR if driver leaving without pick up.
9. Driver can proceed to the grid to have container unloaded. At the grid, the driver must scan his cargo card again at the pedestal and unlock the twist locks.
10. Container unloaded and the driver may proceed to gate out lanes and exit the terminal.
11. Cargo card will activate security barrier to exit.
