09/05/200809:23[Los Angeles]OVERALL: The Port of Los Angeles will host a workshop on the Clean Trucks Program for beneficial cargo owners (BCOs), ocean carriers, customs brokers and freight forwarders and other logistics industry professionals at 9:00am on Friday, September 12 at the Port of Los Angeles Administration Building, 425 S. Palos Verdes Street, San Pedro, Ca.
Port staff will present details of the program, answer questions and address concerns. If you can't attend, you can view the webcast live at www.portoflosangeles.org.

GATE: Truckers will no longer be allowed to queue outside of the South Gate. They must either pull through security and to the pedestal, or go to the North Gate and wait for 18:00
EMPTY RETURNS: -Empty Pick up/Delivery Locations: MSK and MSC - see Point Clerk in A 100 - 300. All other Lines, use location on routing ticket
CHASSIS: -Chassis Pit Locations: North @ South yard / 20’s, 40’s to L3 thru L6.
LINES: -Vessels Working: Kimi, Spirit
SAFETY: SAFETY ADVISEMENT:TO ALL TRUCK DRIVERS: PLEASE ABIDE BY ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS WHEN ENTERING, PROCESSING YOUR TRANSACTION WITHIN THE TERMINAL AND WHEN EXITING THE TERMINAL. THIS INCLUDES WEARING OF THE SAFETY VEST AT ALL TIMES, OBEYING ALL TRAFFIC ADVISEMENT SIGNS, AND TO BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AT ALL TIMES.
IF A DRIVER EXITS HIS TRUCK FOR ANY REASON IT IS IMPERATIVE TO BE WEARING A SAFETY VEST!
MARITIME SECURITY: Maritime Security remains at Level 1
IT SYSTEMS: IMPORTANT ADVISORY: RFID Tag Scanner is not in operation today.

OTHER: REMINDER: PCT Pier J terminal will not accept ANY Maersk Line equipment.
Maersk Line empty containers are no longer accepted at PCT Pier J Terminal. If you picked up a Loaded Maersk container at
PCT Pier J or the SSA Pier A terminal you must return the Maersk empty to SSA Pier A terminal ONLY.
No Maersk chassis can be dropped at SSA Pier A terminal.

Our safety guidelines are basic:
Wear a seatbelt.
Wear a safety vest.
Do not use a cell phone while driving.
When outside of the cab, exercise extreme caution.
