Dear Partners of ACT,

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Mathias W. Poulsen will join Aqaba Container Terminal as Chief Commercial Officer on March 7, 2022. He will be an important part of our Senior Management Team.

Mathias has many years of international expertise and experience with Maersk, which he joined in 2008. His most recent post was as Chief Procurement Officer at Maersk Container Industry, and he has also held the position as head of Procurement at the Maersk Liner Operations Cluster Far East Asia. Mathias also brings diverse experience from the banking sector, sales, and international trade. He holds a master’s degree from Copenhagen Business school and recently completed his Executive MBA.

In his new role, Mathias will be focused on ACT’s commercial activities, business development, marketing, and supply chain to ensure we continue to optimize the value we create for our customers'.
