Aqaba Container Terminal announced its active participation and sponsorship of the “Leading with Care" Program launched by MAERSK Training in cooperation with the Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC). This collaboration serves as a testament to the vision that was introduced last year between ADC and APM Terminals last year under "Aqaba Port Vision”. 

MAERSK Training, a leading global training provider, has successfully launched its first training program in Aqaba. Through its partnership with ADC, the program aims to foster a culture of safety and promote excellence in the workplace.

ACT was a proud participant and sponsor of the program. The opening day of the training program featured an insightful speech by Mr. Soren Jensen, CEO of Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT), who emphasized the organization's commitment to safety as a top priority. Mr. Jensen highlighted the significance of fostering a safety culture within entities and continuously improving safety practices. He added, "We believe in improving safety, behavior, and operational performance in the real working environment and in evaluating and assessing improvements."

Mr. Jensen further expressed his enthusiasm for MAERSK Training's Leading with Care Program, which is being initiated in Aqaba; the program has attracted passionate and dedicated participants, including leaders from various organizations in Aqaba, all seeking to drive change and foster a culture of safety.
