Number plate has to be placed in the right position

Dear Valued Customers,

As we continue to improve our customer journey by digitizing and modernizing our Port, we wish to emphasize the importance of placing the truck registration number (Number Plate) in the correct position as per below image to avoid any error or delay in capturing truck details by our Optical Character Recognition (OCR) available at the entry & exit gates.

All Transport Companies are requested to comply with this on priority basis as trucks with number plates in the wrong position will not be permitted to enter the terminal effective from Sunday 17th March 2024.

بينما نحرص على ان نواصل تحسين رحلة عملائنا من خلال تسهيل وتحديث خدمات الميناء ، نود التأكيد على أهمية وضع رقم تسجيل الشاحنة (لوحة الأرقام) في الموضع الصحيح كما هو موضح في الصورة أدناه لتجنب أي خطأ أو تأخير في التقاط تفاصيل الشاحنة من خلال التعرف الضوئي على الحروف (OCR)

المتوفر عند بوابات الدخول والخروج

يطلب من جميع شركات النقل الامتثال لما ذُكر اعلاه على أساس الأولوية التامة حيث لن يسمح للشاحنات التي تحمل لوحات أرقام في وضع خاطئ بدخول الميناء اعتبارا من يوم الأحد 17 مارس 2024
