Container Movement to CFS – Documentation Requirements

Dear Valued Customers,

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the smooth movement of containers from the yard to the Container Freight Station (CFS), we would like to draw your attention to the following important requirements:

1. Stamped Bayan Copy Required
   • Containers will not be planned or shifted to the CFS if the submitted Bayan copy does not bear the official customs stamp (as illustrated in Pic 3).
   • This measure is intended to prevent double shifting, as the scanner will not capture cargo images if customs payment is incomplete.
   • A missing stamp indicates that the customs payment has not been made.
2. Customs Seal Mandatory
   • Bayan documents without the customs seal will not be accepted.
   • This requirement is in place to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth movement for scanning purposes.
3. Document Submission Deadline
   
   • Bookings will be cancelled if the required documents (hard or soft copies) are not received by the CFS team by 4:00 PM on the preceding day.
   • Timely submission of documents is essential for efficient slot planning and smooth operations.
