ESIA documents
As a Red Category project under Bangladesh's Environment Conservation Rules 2023 (ECR 2023), the Laldia Container Terminal* project is required to conduct a full Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA). As part of APM Terminals Laldia's commitment to responsible development, we will be conducting environmental and social impact studies throughout the design, construction and operational phases of the terminal. These studies are designed to assess the potential impact of projects and to support informed decision-making by all parties.
All ESIA documents and other related project reports will be made available to the public in this repository. The repository will be updated as new information is submitted to relevant authorities and becomes available to the public.

Project and terminal name
Laldia Container Terminals (LCT), Laldia Container Terminal Ltd (LTCL) and Laldia Container Terminal Project (LCTP) are names used in legal, regulatory and project documentation relating to the development of the terminal.
APM Terminals Laldia is the brand name of the terminal in development and will be the operational name of the facility once open.
