APM Terminals Lázaro Cárdenas celebrates its first million containers

Almost three years since the inauguration of the first semi-automated terminal in Mexico and Latin America, APM Terminals celebrates its first Million containers in Lázaro Cárdenas.

The celebration is marked by the unveiling of a commemorative container made by Gabriel López Solís (renowned local artist), which will be exhibited at the Malecon de la Cultura and the Arts in Lázaro Cárdenas.

APM Terminals Lázaro Cárdenas commenced operations in 2012, providing a competitive option in the Mexican Pacific. It offers specialized solutions for containerized cargo, technological innovation and modern equipment. In Lázaro Cárdenas, APM Terminals seeks to respond quickly to the most demanding market changes. It offers agile, efficient and safe transit, personalized service and robust technologies, which combine to position the terminal globally, and attract greater cargo volumes.

The Commemorative Container, which represents the strategic role played by APM Terminals in the Port of Lázaro Cárdenas and in the economy of Mexico, will be exhibited to the public until January in at the Malecon of Culture and Arts.
