Youth in Motion Tournament winners visit the Monarcas Club

To recognize the players of the three top teams in the 2019 APM Terminals Youth in Motion tournament, as well as the winner of the "Fair Play" trophy, team members were treated to a tour of the Morelos Stadium and the opportunity to meet players from the Monarcas Morelia football club.

The winners of this fourth edition, which took place from June 4 to 9 of this year at the Arcelor Mittal sports facilities in the city of Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, were Cecyte 05, Enrique Ramírez High School, Cobaem Guacamayas and the Voluntad de Acero School (Fair Play). Teams from 12 local high schools took part in this year’s tournament.

"As a major company in Lázaro Cárdenas, we have a responsibility and commitment to the youth of the port and the population in general. Sport is a tool that allows us to link with our immediate community and helps us to integrate and share with young people not only joy, companionship, enthusiasm and dedication, in a healthy competitive environment, but also to reinforce the values needed to create a better world, and the dream of victory in a youth sports league, which reached more than 10,000 local inhabitants, "said José Rueda Salinas, Director of APM Terminals Lázaro Cárdenas.
