COVID-19 Upate: Change to 2nd shift operating hours to allow for disinfection of terminal equipment

Effective today, there is a change to the 2nd shift operating hours which has been implemented port-wide to allow time for terminal operators time to disinfect and clean all terminal handling equipment.

Starting tomorrow and until further notice, our second shift gate operations will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 a.m. Pacific time.  Because of this change, the gate will not commence operations until 7 p.m., and we have adjusted our appointment windows for all transaction types to fit the newly adjusted schedule (outlined below).

While we work within these new hours, please note gate operations will be idle from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Please remind your drivers of this and ask them to please patient during this time. We are working with our staff to ensure that once 7 p.m. arrives the lanes are processed as quickly as possible.

For tomorrow, any appointments already made (all transaction types), will be honored – there is no need to change them unless needed or individual purposes. (Users can “manage” appointments to change the time of an existing appointment but the user will see the new appointment windows in the system.  If a user “cancels’ and existing appointment a new appointment will be made utilizing the new windows).
