GTI welcomes Danish delegation to share industry best practices

GTI welcomed the delegation of Danish Parliament at the terminal last week. The delegation comprising 9 representatives from the sectors like education, health, Maritime etc; was led by Mr. Leif Lahn Jensen, Vice Chairman of the Presidium of the Danish Parliaments Composition and Mr. Freddy Svane, the Ambassador of the Royal Danish Embassy in India.

The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Santosh Stephen Chief Financial Officer and the GTI team.  The management appraised the delegation about the India Maritime vision and the critical role GTI plays in the big picture, infrastructural capabilities, transformation program which enables GTI to be one of the most efficient terminals, safety initiatives, decarbonisation initiatives, initiatives on employee welfare & Corporate Social Responsibility, and our aspiration to become the best terminal company.  

The delegates were highly impressed with the Asset Digitisation tool creating a digital twin environment.  The esteemed visitors were taken for the terminal tour and was impressed with GTI’s infrastructure facilities, safety culture and focus on decarbonization.
