APM Terminals Inland Services operates under the brand Star Container Services in the Netherlands. In addition to container sales and leasing, it also carries out container repairs and maintenance, container conversions, and offer full and empty storage. 

Container Sales & Leasing

Star Container Services all types of containers for sale and lease, including standard dry versions, reefer containers and special equipment, both new and used. We look for the best solution for our customers. We hold a large stock of standard dry and reefer containers. Open top and flat rack containers are also available, which are listed under Special Equipment.

Container conversion

Our highly trained technicians are able to carry out any type of modification to the customer’s specifications.

Storage & maintenance

In addition to the sale and rental of containers, Star Container Services also takes care of the storage (full and empty containers) and maintenance of containers at its depot in Rotterdam and on-dock at Maasvlakte. We have a total capacity of 500 TEU. 

Reefer repairs and inspections

Repairs are carried out in a closed shed that can accommodate 8 * 40 'containers with a free passage height of 6 meters. Inspections (including Pre-Trip Inspections), maintenance and repair of (full and empty) reefers and GenSets is carried out by STEK-approved technicians. The depot has a reefer bridge with 60 connections.

Container cleaning

Our purpose built washing area covers 1,400 m2 and has a capacity of 40 containers.
