Fast & Efficient Workflow

1. Pre-advise

Liner provides TBL documents to APM Terminals Kano within a minimum of 14 workdays to vessel arrival
APM Terminals Kano secures relevant customs approval required for the transfer of containers to Kano
APM Terminals Kano confirms transire documents at vessel ETA

2. Documentation & Discharge

Liner transmits e-manifest and a physical copy to Customs system 5 days before vessel ETA
APM Terminals Kano runs Lagos documentation, secures transire, escort and gate approvals required for transfer of containers to Kano
No storage accrues to Liner on TBL containers at APM Terminals Apapa where complete and proper documents have been provided to KPI

3. Approval & Haulage

As soon as all container documentation is completed, APM Terminals Kano prints the TDO for the onward movement to Kano
Transit report is shared daily with Liner until unit gates in Kano when an EDI will be generated to Liner

4. Drop-off in Kano

Container delivered to APM Terminals Kano a maximum of 14 days from vessel discharge
APM Terminals Kano uses the same terminal operating system as APM Terminals Apapa for a seamless service
Customer completes final clearance with Kano Customs and loads unit out of our facility

5. Empty Drop-off

Empty containers returned to APM Terminals Kano by a customer may be retained at Liner’s dedicated stack based on advice
Lagos-bound empties/exports are delivered to APM Terminals Apapa or Liner Holding Bays via our haulage service

Liner retrieves empties for export back to origin for another cycle
