Nigerian labour congress (nlc) and trade union congress (tuc) declares an indefinite nationwide strike

Dear Esteemed Customer,

This is to inform you that the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) & Trade Union Congress counterpart have declared an indefinite strike from Monday, June 3rd, 2024, over inconclusive national minimum wage negotiation and the non-reversal of electricity tariff by the Federal government. In compliance with the directives of the NLC through the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), all terminal operations will be on suspension from, June 3rd, 2024. We will resume operations as soon as the strike is declared over.

We encourage all customers to expedite their import delivery, empty pick-up and export gate-in ahead of the commencement of the indefinite strike action.
