APM Terminals is actively taking all applicable legal measures to combat fraudulent investment schemes and scams that have misused the company's name in a criminal manner.
Please note that:
- At the company's request, courts have ordered the removal of groups and pages from platforms and service providers used by scammers to promote fraudulent activities.
- Individuals who share (disseminate) or replicate scams may face civil and criminal liability.
Warning to the public
Anyone claiming to have received payments from these schemes should be aware that their involvement may be considered complicity in the scam. These activities deceive innocent people and are currently investigation. In some cases, scammers may issue payments to create a false sense of legitimacy around the fake investment opportunities.

Fraudulent activities impersonating APM Terminals and our executives
APM Terminals has identified a variety of scams involving the unauthorised use of our name, branding and executive identities to deceive individuals. These fraudulent activities include false job offers, fake investments in terminals and equipment, and misleading financial schemes.
Scammers are making use of WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, fake websites and links shared on social media – often using the names and photos of our executives to appear legitimate.
Important warnings
- We do not offer public investment programmes or promote financial services through unofficial channels.
APM Terminals does not provide investment opportunities or financial services to the public. We do not use apps, websites, direct messaging or sponsored ads to promote financial investments. Any claims suggesting otherwise – especially those shared via websites, apps, social media, WhatsApp or Telegram – are fraudulent. -
Scammers are impersonating our executives.
Fraudsters are using the names and photos of APM Terminals executives in messaging groups, posing as educational groups to promote fraudulent investments. - Fake documents and branding are being used.
To appear legitimate, some scams have involved forged contracts, misuse of our CNPJ and counterfeit versions of our logo.
What can you do?
- Be cautious of any unsolicited messages or offers coming from outside our official channels.
- Do not make payments and do not share personal information, passwords or bank details to unverified contacts.
- Do not engage with suspicious links, ads or posts
- Report any fraudulent activity immediately to us via our official channels below.
