Customer Advisory: Submission of Importer Exporter (IE) Code for iPortman Integration
Dear Valued Customer,
Greetings from APM Terminals Pipavav.
As part of the ongoing implementation of the iPortman Project, we request your support in providing your Importer Exporter (IE) Code details.
This requirement has become mandatory in line with NLP Customs EDI regulations, under which EDI messages such as Vessel Profile and Import General Manifest (IGM) are submitted using the customer's IE Code as the unique identifier.
The availability of accurate IE Code information is essential to:
- Enable seamless auto-posting of EDI transactions in iPortman.
- Ensure correct customer mapping and identification within the system.
- Facilitate smooth processing of customs-related electronic transactions.
To simplify the data collection process, we have created an online form for submission of IE Code details.

Submission Timeline:
We request all customers to submit their IE Code details within the next two weeks, i.e., from 09 June 2026 to 23 June 2026. Kindly ensure that the form is completed on or before 23 June 2026 to avoid any delays or issues in EDI transaction mapping and processing within the iPortman system.
