REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – GPPL Maintenance Dredging Project
Gujarat Pipavav Port intends to carry out Maintenance Dredging of Berth No. 1-2-3-4 & LPG Jetty berth pocket and approach channel area. For this project, the brief scope of work at site is as
mentioned below:
1. Dredging of Channel area Jetty from existing depth to -13.5m CD levels prior to
demobilization of dredging equipment
2. Dredging of berth pocket 1, 2, 3 from existing depth to -16m CD levels prior to
demobilization of dredging equipment
3. Dredging of berth pocket 4 from existing depth to -16m CD levels prior to demobilization of
dredging equipment
4. Dredging of LPG Jetty berth pocket from existing depth to -13.5m CD levels prior to
demobilization of dredging equipment
5. Dredging of Channel Area- Shiyal bet Side from existing depth to -13.5m CD levels prior to
demobilization of dredging equipment
Tentative volume of dredging quantity is approximately 130,000 cum, No hard rock strata are
anticipated at the dredging locations. The bathymetric survey at the time of pre-dredging, interim
dredging (if required) & post dredging for depth & dredging quantity shall be carried out by third party
surveyor & all cost borne by the GPPL.
The contract shall be consolidated contract with assured specified depths as per the final bathymetry
mentioned above.
Tentative Timeline:
Tender - August 2022- October 2022
Works – November 2022 – February 2022
The contract will follow the FIDIC guidelines as per FIDIC Blue book. Contractor will be solely
responsible for obtaining necessary permission & approval for dredging activities from Gujarat
Maritime Board & other Governments authorities.
