Operations Update (Blizzard Update) - 2/25

Dear Valued Customer & Stakeholder,

Following the recent winter storm, recovery efforts at APM Terminals Elizabeth have progressed to a point where we are able to safely resume operations. Please see the latest operational update below:

Gate Operations:
The terminal will reopen Thu. 2/26 with a modified start time @ 8AM, closing at normal time 4PM. The delayed start will allow for continued yard preparation to support safe and efficient truck operations.

Vessel Operations:
Vessel operations will resume Thu. 2/26 @ 8AM with 2 vessels (Mukaddes Kalkavan & GSL Christel Elisabeth) with an additional vessel (Hong Kong Express) scheduled to start @ 7PM

Rail Operations:
Rail operations will resume Thu. 2/26 at normal time. 

Depot Operations (Port Newark Depot):
The Port Newark Depot will remain CLOSED on Thu. 2/26 to allow for continued snow removal and recovery effortsin the vicinity.

Modified Gate, Sat. 2/28:
We are planning a modified gate on Sat. 2/28 to support cargo fluidity. Additional details will be shared as plans are finalized.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue working toward full operational recovery. Further updates will be communicated as needed and all free time will be updated per NYTC tariff accordingly.
