Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) today welcomed government officials, industry leaders, customers, suppliers and logistics professionals from across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and beyond as Transport Middle East 2026 officially opened in Cairo, Egypt. The three-day event brings together government officials and senior decision-makers from across the maritime, transport and logistics sectors to discuss the trends, opportunities and challenges shaping the future of global trade. Hosted by SCCT, the conference features an international programme of expert speakers, industry discussions, networking opportunities and a technical site visit. The event provides a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration across the global supply chain, bringing together hundreds of delegates and industry representatives from around the world. The conference agenda focuses on key industry priorities, including supply chain resilience, digital transformation, smart port technologies, sustainability, maritime decarbonisation, infrastructure investment and the future of international trade.
