APM Terminals Spanish Gateways launches the second edition of its Social Action Awards

Employees at the terminals in Valencia, Barcelona, Castellón and Gijón can submit projects for non-profit organisations until 7 October

APM Terminals Spanish Gateways has launched the second edition of its Social Action Awards, an initiative that will contribute to the implementation of projects of non-profit organisations for social, educational, sporting and cultural development, involving both the company and its employees.

With the launching, deadline begins for employees in Valencia, Barcelona, Castellón and Gijón to check the terms and conditions for sponsoring the projects of the organisations they wish, and to submit their nominations for the Social Action Awards. To do so, they have until October 7th, when the jury will begin its work to choose the winners.

Six organisations awarded last year

During the first edition of the Social Action Awards, APM Terminals Spanish Gateways gave its support to projects of six organisations: the Association of Parents and Friends of Congenital Heart Disease (APACI) of Asturias, the ANAR Foundation of Valencia, Pallapupas, the Associació Contra l'Anorèxia i la Bulìmia and the Fundaciò Oncolliga, all three from Barcelona, and the association Assotea de Familiares y Personas con Autismo de Martorell.

Publication of the results and the awards ceremony for this second edition will take place in December.
