Birna Ósk Einarsdóttir

Birna Ósk Einarsdóttir was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer and joined APM Terminals’ management team in January 2022.

During her career, Birna has held a number of leadership and managerial positions in Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Project. Over the last 20 years, Birna worked at many of Iceland’s largest organizations, such as Chief Commercial Officer at Iceland Telecom, EVP of Marketing and Business Development at Landsvirkjun, the national power company and Icelandair where she served as Chief Commercial Officer until the end of 2021. She has also served as a board member in various companies and non-profits in Iceland.

Birna’s experience in customer experience, sales, marketing and technology will support the important role that the APM Terminals Commercial team plays in bringing our Safer, Better, Bigger strategy to life as well as in delivering a consistent high quality customer experience that helps us become an even more customer focused world class terminal operator.
