APM Terminals Moín, along with more than 200 volunteers, join together to clean Moín Beach

On Saturday, June 3, along three kilometers of beach, volunteers and entire families set out to collect all types of waste and garbage dragged to the sand of the Moín beach.

As part of World Environment Day's celebration under the GO GREEN initiative, and with the support of the local government, security forces, among other organizations, joined the cause.



Jose Rueda Salinas Managing Director of APM Terminals Moín, explained: 
"Thanks to the Go Green initiative, we united to clean Moín beach, allowing the enjoyment of new generations and preserving the environment."

The local government of the Limón province provided a truck for waste collection. It was responsible for its final destination, properly sorting it into recyclable materials such as plastic and ordinary waste.
