Commencement of Drug and Alcohol Testing for Truck Drivers at APM Terminals

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be informed that, effective Wednesday, 21 October 2026, APM Terminals Apapa will commence mandatory drug and alcohol testing for all truck drivers seeking access to the terminal.

All truck owners, transport operators, and drivers are hereby advised to ensure strict compliance with this requirement. Drivers found to be under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances will not be permitted entry into the terminal and may be subject to additional sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations and terminal safety policies.

This measure is being implemented to strengthen safety standards, reduce operational risks, and ensure the safety of all terminal users.

We therefore urge all stakeholders to ensure that drivers abstain from the consumption of alcohol and the misuse of drugs before and during the performance of their duties and comply fully with all road safety requirements and terminal safety regulations.
