Container Door Direction at Point of Loading

Dear Valued Customer and Truckers,

To support efficient container delivery, all truckers and transport operators are required to verify the container door direction at the point of loading before exiting the terminal.

Container Door Direction Requirements:
Examined Containers

  • For both 20ft and 40ft containers, the container doors must face outward.

Fast-Track / Bonded Terminal Containers

  • 40ft containers: The container doors must face inward, towards the truck cabin.
  • Two 20ft containers: The container doors must face each other.

Trucker Responsibility:
All truckers are responsible for:

  • Monitoring container positioning during the loading process.
  • Confirming that the container door direction complies with the applicable requirement before leaving the loading area.
  • Reporting wrong container positioning immediately to terminal personnel.
  • Ensuring any incorrect door direction is corrected before proceeding to exit the terminal.

We appreciate your cooperation and continued partnership in ensuring safe, efficient,
and seamless delivery operations.
