Launching the Lashing Dojo
An important milestone was reached with the launch of the new Lashing Dojo – a dedicated hands-on training space designed to strengthen skills, improve safety and build confidence in vessel operations.
Built to replicate a real vessel bay, the Dojo covers every critical aspect of lashing operations, including:
- Lashing and unlashing short and long bars
- Pinning and unpinning at the station
- Reading visual work instructions and understanding twist locks and lashing gear
- Monkey ladder and manhole simulations
- Gangways, safety nets and vessel boarding
- Safe use of the safety cage at height
- Unlocking top-tier twist locks and managing jammed scenarios
This initiative goes beyond training – it is about team building. Working in pairs, trusting each other at height and relying on safety gear fosters confidence and respect for the craft and for the professionals who perform these tasks every day.
The Lashing Dojo represents a long-term commitment to shaping skills, strengthening safety culture and supporting operational excellence across the terminal.
إطلاق "دوجو التثبيت"
أعلنت إيه بي إم تيرمينالز البحرين عن افتتاح «دوجو التثبيت» الجديد، وهو مساحة تدريب عملية مبتكرة تهدف إلى تطوير المهارات، رفع مستويات السلامة، وتعزيز الثقة في تنفيذ عمليات السفن.
وتم تصميم هذا الدوجو ليحاكي بيئة العمل الواقعية على متن السفن، حيث يغطي مختلف الجوانب الأساسية لعمليات التثبيت، بما في ذلك:
تثبيت وفك القضبان القصيرة والطويلة •
تثبيت وفك الدبابيس في المحطة •
قراءة التعليمات المرئية وفهم أقفال الالتواء ومعدات التثبيت •
محاكاة السلالم العمودية وفتحات الوصول •
الممرات، شبكات السلامة وصعود السفن •
الاستخدام الآمن للقفص الواقي على الارتفاعات •
فك أقفال الالتواء في المستويات العليا والتعامل مع الحالات العالقة •
