Dear Valued Customers,

The safety and well-being of our employees, customers and the wider port community remain our top priority. Under the current operating conditions, APM Terminals Bahrain is implementing temporary measures to ensure safe and orderly cargo deliveries at Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP).

As part of this approach, we are prioritizing the delivery of essential commodities, specifically:

• Reefer containers (frozen and chilled cargo)
• Pharmaceutical cargo
• Food cargo

Given the current operating environment, delivery capacity is limited. Customers are therefore requested to exercise prudence and request priority delivery appointments only where genuinely required.

Before requesting a priority cargo delivery appointment, the following requirements must be completed:

• Valid Delivery Order (issued by the Line/Agents)
• Container Release Form (issued by the Line/Agents)
• Customs clearance completed in Bayan
• Any commodity specific govt. or regulatory approvals or permissions
• Truck available to collect the container

Customers requesting priority delivery appointments must email the above documents to the Customer Care team at service.bahrain@apmterminals.com. Container and truck appointments shall be processed manually (no action needed from Customers).

Priority cargo release requests will be reviewed by the APM Terminals Customer Care team and permitted only for the commodities listed above. Requests for non-priority cargo under priority status and requests without complete documentation will not be processed.

Delivery appointment windows will operate as follows:

Operational notes:

1. Cargo booked through SOP and TAS will be treated as non-priority cargo deliveries regardless of cargo type.
2. Requests for priority cargo deliveries outside the morning window will continue to be handled through manual appointment allocation, subject to operational capacity and prevailing conditions.
3. All deliveries remain subject to prevailing operational, safety and security conditions at KBSP.
4. This workflow is a temporary operational measure and may be modified, suspended or withdrawn at any time depending on operational conditions
