APM Terminals hires for the future

APM Terminals in Gothenburg is now pleased to announce that we will increase the number of employees in the business with 10 new positions.

Recently, our customers have gradually experienced improved customer service, increased flexibility and thereby greater reliability of the terminal. In addition, handled volume has increased since last year, which all together is the reason for this recruitment. At the same time, there are now collective agreements with all trade unions in the workplace, and therefore duty of peace without risk of disruptions in the business.

We are on a very exciting journey with new opportunities that come from digitized and automated solutions in our industry. In this recruitment, we take the first steps towards meeting the future competence requirements for working within our operations. We are therefore primarily looking for employees with skills and experience in, for example, integrated systems and automation. 

Furthermore, we are looking for people who work solution-oriented with a distinct affinity to both customers and partners and the company internally. Already today, our roles are linked to lean and standardized working methods, where all employees at the terminal play an important part. We see a gradual evolution from being a machine-running port worker to roles that can rather be described as logistics operators. 

Recruitment is expected to be completed by the end of September.
