Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, xx November 2025 – APM Terminals Lázaro Cárdenas, the first semi-automated container terminal in Latin America, has handled one million TEUs before the close of 2025, setting a new efficiency record and strengthening its strategic role in Mexico’s international trade.

This growth is the result of a robust investment plan that has expanded operational capacity both at berth and in the yard. Throughout the year, the terminal enhanced crane operational efficiency and optimized truck appointment scheduling, achieving faster service times and sustained performance levels.
