Vincent Thomas Bridge redecking project

Working together to keep cargo moving

In late 2026, Caltrans will begin redecking the Vincent Thomas Bridge, a critical connection in the Los Angeles port complex. The project is expected to take approximately 18 months, with completion planned for 2028.

At APM Terminals Los Angeles, we are committed to ensuring that cargo continues to move efficiently throughout this period. We are working closely with our labor partners, including ILWO, PMA and PMSA – as well as Caltrans and the Port of Los Angeles – to minimize disruptions and maintain the reliability our customers expect.
