Festival of Culture celebrated at APM Terminals Moín

Many countries' traditions were displayed colorfully at APM Terminals Moín to celebrate Culture's Day on October 12. 

Highlighting the cultural character APM Terminals Moín employees diverse backgrounds and promoting a sense of belonging among the teams was part of the Festival of Culture’s objectives on 12 October 2012. Among the countries represented were: Nicaragua, El Salvador, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
 
Each team sold typical food, and the money collected will be used to donate gifts to the children of the community of Moín. Everyone gave their best effort, and teamwork shone like the day's radiant sun. Some teams even had traditional games. The judging panel had a tough job selecting the winners.



Lisbeth Thomas, Head of Human Resources and Employee Relations, commented: “Living with such a diverse team of people with the same purpose is what motivates us at APM Terminals Moín. Each person, each culture represented, each language, and each of the artistic and culinary expressions enriches us and makes us a better place to work and share.”
