“Sustainable growth” - the focus of APM Terminals’ new Director, Port Onne
APM Terminals has appointed a new Managing Director for West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) at Onne Port, Nigeria. Jeethu Jose, formerly Deputy Managing Director and Head of Country Projects at WACT, has held an extensive career across Procurement and Project Management with APM Terminals and Maersk Oil among other organisations.
In August 2017, he joined APM Terminals as Regional Head of Procurement, Africa, Middle East and Asia before moving to APM Terminals Apapa as Head of Procurement and Projects before assuming the role of Deputy Managing Director in January 2022.
Former Managing Director, Naved Zafar vacated the role of Managing Director on February 7 to take up the position of Director, Investment, Africa & Europe, supporting the APM Terminals’ growth ambitions in the area.
“I’m delighted to step into this position,” said Jose, adding that he will commit to serving not only colleagues and communities, but the country as a whole. “Our focus will continue to be on sustainable growth,” he said.
