Health Safety Security & Environment

APM Terminals Elizabeth is the only terminal in the Port of NJ/NY where truck drivers must complete a Safety Induction Quiz to access the terminal. This is an effort to ensure that all drivers are educated on the APM Terminals safety policies in advance. Year to date, we have over 26,00 truck drivers signed up !

Go Green

This year APM Terminals Port Elizabeth joined the global Go Green 2023 program together with Maersk. Together they cleaned up the beach adjacent to the terminal, to protect and revitalize the natural world for the benefit of all.

First call from Wan Hai’s Trans-Pacific Service

Last month APM Terminals Port Elizabeth welcomed the new weekly Wan Hai AA7 Transpacific service, servicing ports in Asia and the US East Coast.

Trucker Happiness Index

At APM Terminals Elizabeth happiness is our thing. We continue to work hard to enhance the truck driver’s experience at the terminal and capture real-time feedback from truck drivers. Year to date, 89% of 8,977 rated us positively, giving us an average Happy Index of 87. Follow our Truck Driver Happiness Index in real time via the link below.

At APMT Elizabeth we are always looking for ways to better our processes.

With efficiency and safety in mind we are currently working on reducing the Outbound process from 76 seconds to 45 seconds, along with eliminating paper waste by making the process paperless. Every second counts when you are a truck driver, and we are dedicated to giving back every second we
