APM Terminals Poti Continues Its Support for Education by Recognizing Outstanding Teachers
At a Teachers’ Day celebration held in Poti, APM Terminals Poti honored local teachers in recognition of their significant contribution to delivering quality education and supporting the development of young people.
Based on the results of the 2025-2026 academic year, the company recognized and awarded five outstanding teachers. The awards were presented to Natruli Tabidze (Public School No. 1), Liana Antadze (Public School No. 3), Inga Shengelia (Public School No. 7), Nino Jabua (Public School No. 11), and Tamila Kapanadze (Public School No. 15) for their exceptional contributions to social initiatives, inclusive education, environmental awareness, and STEM-related projects.
“Quality education and youth development form the foundation of a thriving society. That is why we deeply value the dedication and commitment of teachers who not only impart knowledge but also help shape the next generation into responsible, engaged, and capable citizens," - said Christian Roeder, Managing Director of APM Terminals Poti.
According to Lana Tughushi, Head of the Poti Educational Resource Centre, collaboration with the private sector plays an important role in enhancing educational quality and encouraging teachers. “Partnerships with the private sector are highly important to us, and we are pleased that APM Terminals Poti continues to stand alongside us as a valued partner. We particularly appreciate the company’s ongoing support in recognizing teachers who achieve outstanding results in STEM education and make a meaningful contribution to the development of young people in our city. I would like to congratulate every teacher on this special occasion and wish them continued success in their professional journey,” she said.
For many years, APM Terminals Poti has actively supported education and youth development initiatives. The company works closely with local schools and educational institutions, implementing a range of educational, technology-focused, and career orientation programmes that help young people discover new opportunities, develop valuable skills, and prepare for their future careers.
