APM Terminals Yucatán adds five Terminal Trucks to strengthen its operational capacity
The addition of these units will increase equipment availability and strengthen the continuity and resilience of terminal operations.
APM Terminals Yucatán continues to advance its commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement with the addition of five Terminal Trucks to its fleet of specialized container-handling equipment.
The addition of these units will strengthen the terminal’s operational capacity, increase equipment availability and enhance the resilience of its operations in response to the port’s growth and increasing demand.
In addition to expanding the available fleet, this initiative contributes to the standardization of the equipment used in daily operations, facilitating maintenance activities and generating greater operational efficiencies. These benefits translate into a more reliable and competitive operation for the port’s customers and users.
This initiative forms part of APM Terminals Yucatán’s modernization and operational-strengthening program, through which the company continues to improve its infrastructure, equipment and processes to support the competitiveness of the Port of Progreso and contribute to the economic growth of Yucatán and the wider region.
“Every initiative we implement has a clear purpose: to provide a safer, more efficient and more reliable operation for our customers. The addition of this equipment represents another step in our commitment to ensuring that the terminal is prepared to meet the current and future needs of the Port of Progreso,” said Víctor Konen, Managing Director of APM Terminals Yucatán.
The addition of these five Terminal Trucks complements the various modernization initiatives currently being implemented by APM Terminals México in Progreso, reaffirming the company’s commitment to creating value for its customers, strengthening the logistics chain and positioning the port as a more competitive platform for Mexico and the region.
