Rijeka Gateway
In November 2021, APM Terminals (51%) and Enna Logic (49%) signed a concession agreement to design, construct and operate a state-of-the-art container terminal, Rijeka Gateway, on Croatia's North Adriatic coast. The Rijeka Gateway will developed in two phases, with phase one due for completion in 2025. Once completed, the terminal will have a 680m long berth and be able to serve vessels up to 24,000 TEUs. The largest project in the logistics sector in Croatia has secured electricity from renewable energy sources for the operation of its container terminal. This will reduce CO2 and other harmful gas emissions significantly.
