Live terminal cameras show congestion status at APM Terminals Japan

Two terminal cameras streaming a live feed are now available on the APM Terminals Japan homepage (www.apmterminals.com/japan). These cameras enable dispatchers and truck drivers to determine the traffic situation at the terminal in real time and plan their pick-ups and drop-offs more efficiently.

One camera is located on the approach road to the terminal and the other camera shows the waiting areas and gate approach lane for gates 1-2 and 3-4 in particular. This provides a clear overview of any congestion for all gates. To switch to the second camera showing the traffic status on the approach road to the terminal, simply click on the tab ‘Approach Road’ in the camera module.

The camera feeds are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and are optimized for viewing on any device, which means the cameras can also be viewed on a tablet or smartphone. The camera module also shows the current weather situation at the terminal.

This is the first of a number of improvements based on feedback from customers, which will help make their daily operations at the terminal more efficient.
