Clean Truck Express | Green Lane Program
APM Terminals Pier 400's Green Lane Program is available exclusively to vehicles registered in the Port of Los Angeles Clean Truck Program and powered by battery-electric, natural gas or other qualifying low- or zero-emission technologies.
Green Appointments
Green Appointments are the next evolution of Pier 400's Green Lane Program.
Designed for eligible low- and zero-emission trucks, Green Appointments provide priority access to appointment availability, helping fleets secure appointments earlier and plan operations with greater confidence before a truck is dispatched to the terminal.
At Pier 400, appointments are where planning becomes execution. By extending benefits into the scheduling process, Green Appointments help create a more connected experience from appointment booking through gate processing.

Green Lane access
Once at the terminal, eligible trucks may use the dedicated Green Lane designed to expedite movement through the gate. This lane provide an operational advantage for qualifying vehicles and help reduce time spent waiting in conventional lanes.
Initial studies indicate qualifying trucks can reduce turn times by an average of approximately nine minutes compared with conventional lanes, with greater benefits during periods of higher demand.
