Trade Advisory: Revision of Dwell/Storage Days for Transshipment Containers

Warm greetings from APM Terminals Pipavav!

In line with our commitment to providing safe, efficient, and reliable port services, we wish to inform you of a revision in the dwell (storage) days for transshipment containers (TP containers).

Recent geopolitical developments in the Middle East have led to a surge in TP boxes at the port. To ensure continuity of smooth operations, the following changes will be implemented:

• Laden containers: storage revised from 15 days to 7 days
• Empty containers: storage revised from 10 days to 7 days

This revision will take effect from 01 May 2026 and remain in place until further notice.
