Tangier, Morocco

Operational since 2007, the 2.4 million TEU capacity APM Terminals Tangier is the third busiest port in Africa and is recognised as a strong business partner and being socially engaged with local communities.

APM Terminals MedPort Tangier has been operational since 2019. It is one of the most technologically advanced, safest and efficient terminals in the world. In 2023 a 1 million TEU expansion was completed with an additional 400m quay, auto-mooring system and shore power.

Monrovia, Liberia

New Mobile Harbour Cranes and dredging to 12.5 meters draft have reduced port stays by 50% and enabled larger, gearless vessels. Customer collaboration has also led to the development of a bitumen distribution hub to serve growing asphalt demand.

Port automation and digital solutions, including a customer portal, truck appointment system, electronic bank payment and system integration with customs, shipping lines and the commercial banks, have increased efficiency and reduced cargo clearing times. 

Côte d'Ivoire Terminal (CIT)

Our newest of three terminal’s in Côte d'Ivoire, the pioneering low-emissions Côte d'Ivoire Terminal (CIT) became operational in November 2022.

Located adjacent to the existing Abidjan Terminal, it is the only terminal on Africa's west coast able to accommodate vessels with 16m draft, and enhances the competitiveness of the port with an additional 1.5 million TEU capacity.

MPS, Tema, Ghana

Recognised by all shipping lines as the most efficient Container Terminal/Port in West and Central Africa.

15 new state-of-the-art gantry cranes, 1.4 km quay can handle cargo ships up to 18,000 TEU. Phase II expansion will be fully completed in 2025.
