APM Terminals MVII signs largest European expansion contract (62 cranes) with Kuenz and ABB

he contract includes the purchase of as many as 62 Automated Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes (ARMGs) from renowned Austrian construction company Kuenz, featuring the reliable automated handling systems from ABB.

Terminal Closure Week 9 And 10

APMT MVII is testing with Automated Terminal Trucks (ATTs) in preparation for the capacity doubling and further automation of the loading and unloading process. These fully automated, modern, lighter, and more agile vehicles will eventually replace some of the existing L-AGVs, aiming for a more efficient and smoother operation, enabling us to serve you, our customer, even faster and more reliably.

Stuffing & Stripping

Stuffing and Stripping of containerized & non-conventional cargo is offered as part of our service at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II. This service can also include a container freight station, a facility where freight shipments are consolidated or de-consolidated and staged between transport legs, and cross-dock activities.

Break Bulk

APM Terminals Maasvlakte II is equipped to handle almost all break bulk/Outside of Gauge (OOG) cargo, including even the most awkward, largest or heaviest items.

Open-Access Rail Terminal

Our on-dock rail terminal can also handle cargo from other container terminals and distribution centres.
