Container Services

ACT provides the following Container Terminal Services:  

  • Providing berths to vessels.
  • Performing ship-to-shore and vice versa operations, including lifting of hatch covers; (un-)lashing of containers. 
  • Stacking and un-stacking of containers within the Container Terminal.
  • Transferring containers within the Container Terminal.
  • Executing delivery and receipt of LCL and FCL containers within the Container Terminal. 
  • Carrying out temperature checks on reefer containers within the Container Terminal.
  • Checking the technical conditions of containers.
  • Providing storage of containers within the Container Terminal.
  • Performing inventory control of containers other goods at the Container Terminal.
  • Preparing Equipment interchange reports.
  • Executing documentary controls (whether manual or computerized).
  • The supply of potable water to vessels alongside the Container Terminal.  
  • Performing weighing of containers and trucks within the Container Terminal. 
  • Executing value added services with respect to containers and container handling within the Container Terminal.  
  • Stuffing and unstuffing containers.
  • Hiring labor and equipment.
