APM Terminals Vado Ligure announces new VAX service to connect the Port of Piraeus

From mid-October 2020, a new service will call at the new deep-sea terminal in Vado Ligure, one of the most technologically advanced in the Mediterranean thanks to a series of state-of-the-art equipment.

The new VAX service, managed by Diamond Line, a COSCO group company, represents an important step in the growth path of the new Container Terminal in Vado Ligure after the start of operations last February and takes on particular importance also in light of the economic situation economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 health emergency.

The line will have priority connection to the port of Piraeus with the main lines to and from the Far and Middle East, India, Oceania, Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean.

The new VAX service will join the other shipping lines active in Vado Ligure with weekly calls (ME2 and L75) and, from an organizational point of view, will not change the current arrangements in place.
